EACH ONE REACH ONE MISSION

God placed in my heart long ago that people should not feel abandoned and alone. It has always been a heartfelt ambition to assure elderly persons in nursing care homes that they are loved and never forgotten. God calls all of us to this mission. His Word states, in the Book of James, that the profession of faith in God should be a life of active obedience, stating: "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world" (James 1:27).

After years of visiting residents, sharing the love of God, many volunteers and supporters of "the Mission" have come and gone without whom nothing that we do would be possible. The commitment of service to the residents and developed friendships, has allowed Each One Reach One Mission to stay the course. It is clear that the field is ripe and larger than the few of us and there is much work to do. We have certainly been blessed by the love shown to us as well, and want to continue to be a blessing. 

 

There is an urgency to continue forward in our obedience to this calling. There are millions who spend their days alone in a nursing home.

 

Each One Reach One Mission offers many opportunities for the young and not so young to participate with us in obedience to the petition of outward acts of love and inward purity. Our youth projects include service to residents and service to their peers.

 

We invite you to become a part of this blessing of compassion. Whether you are able to share your time with youth as a group leader or mentor, visit the elderly sharing your talents of song, spoken word, music, drama or teaching, or your gifts of faithfulness, love, patience and understanding or perhaps you are able to share your finances to assist with tangible resources, PLEASE consider and pray to determine any valuable part you can play.
